中文演讲稿:
```
今天我想告诉你们三个我生活中的故事。没什么大不了的。只是三个故事。
我在里得大学读了六个月就退学了,但在当时,那似乎是我离大学毕业最近的一次。
我为什么退学?
因为实在没有什么我喜欢的课程。
后来,我退学了,但这不是我最后悔的事。
我决定要追随我的直觉和好奇心,因为我知道,我所学到的东西,在之后的人生中,将会成为无价之宝。
比如,在Reed大学,那里有全美最好的美术字课程。
因为退学了,我得以去旁听这些课程,学习那些漂亮的美术字。
这些经历,后来帮助我设计出了Macintosh电脑上的字体。
你无法预见到你的生活会怎样连接起来,你只能在回顾过去的时候,才能看到那些点是如何连接起来的。
所以,你必须信任那些点会在你的未来以某种方式连接起来。
你必须信任自己的直觉,信任自己的激情,信任自己的梦想。
因为只有这样,你才能在人生的道路上,无惧前行。
你必须找到你所热爱的事情,因为,这就是你生活的意义所在。
英文演讲稿:
```
Today I want to tell you three stories from my life. That's it. No big deal. Just three stories.
I was enrolled in Reed College for about six months before I dropped out. It was probably the best six months I ever spent.
Why did I drop out?
I didn't like what I was learning.
I needed to find what I loved.
And later, when I was doing what I loved, I was better at it than I ever was at anything else.
You can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future.
You have to trust in the journey.
You have to trust that your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life.
The most important thing is to follow your passion.
Your time is limited, so don't waste it on things that don't matter to you.
When I was young, I was told that you have to work hard to achieve your dreams.
But now I realize that the most important thing is to have the courage to follow your passion.
Brave people enjoy the world first.
They don't wait for the world to enjoy them.
